At Holymer, we believe that great projects are built on great people. That's why we're delighted to introduce you today to a new face in our design studio - Lukáš.

From CTU through Global Companies to Us

Lukáš graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at CTU and after completing his studies in 2016, he joined Siemens, where he spent two years in the development department. He worked on equipment for power plants under German management – and as he says himself, that's where he learned what it means to do things precisely and systematically. Czech engineers were doing real development work back then: drawings, designs, simulations.

His next stop was Enprag, where Lukáš took on the role of division manager for lean manufacturing. They were literally starting from scratch – sourcing materials, building a sales team, visiting customers. Four years of intensive work that made him not only an experienced engineer, but also someone who understands business from the ground up.

Then came Dexion – a company focused on equipping warehouses and manufacturing facilities with an emphasis on automation. Lukáš worked here as a project manager and led complex projects across various industrial sectors. When the company ceased operations in the Czech Republic, Lukáš was looking for new challenges – and he found them with us.

What Does He Do at Holymer?

Lukáš spends most of his time here exactly where it's needed most – working on drawings and design tasks. His main role is senior engineer, but thanks to his extensive experience with clients, he regularly travels to customers, where he helps turn their visions and requirements into concrete technical solutions.

Outside of Work? Mountains, Forest, and Adrenaline.

Anyone who thinks Lukáš relaxes on the couch after computer work doesn't know him yet. In his free time, you'll most often find him in the mountains or in the forest – he competes in relay races, goes ski mountaineering, snowboards, and even runs half marathons. He certainly doesn't lack energy – and that's exactly what we need in our team.
